Which National Seashore beach fits your visit?
Start with the constraint that can rule a beach out: shuttle dependence, stairs, vehicle restrictions or required mobility features.
The six federal fee beaches span Eastham to Provincetown. This is an arrival comparison, not a ranking of scenery or swimming conditions. The May 2026 NPS guide supplies the physical and parking details below; current alerts can override normal arrangements.

Choose by the weakest part of your plan
If transferring beach equipment between a car and shuttle is the difficult part, review Coast Guard’s arrival sequence before committing. If stairs are the limiting factor, remove Marconi from your sand-access shortlist. If you are arriving by public transport, begin with the dated Provincetown shuttle timetable rather than assuming that all six beaches have a bus connection.
For a party with different needs, compare the complete route: parking space, path, toilet, place to rest and return journey. A beach wheelchair does not answer every one of those questions. Our feature comparison separates the documented facilities from availability still needing confirmation.
Choose a backup before arrival
Keep an alternative that solves the same problem as the first beach. Switching from a beach with suitable mobility features to a staircase beach is not a useful fallback. Likewise, a different parking authority may require another payment. Use the parking guide to check that difference before buying a pass.
Do not treat a typical parking pattern as a guaranteed arrival deadline. Check the operator’s current notices, obey signs, and keep enough flexibility to change the day’s activity if your first choice is unavailable.
