Compare two ways to make the trip

Put both options on the same basis: the same party, dates and included activities.

Enter whole-trip totals in US dollars. Include return fares, required booking charges and any local connections. If a parking payment includes admission, record it once. For lodging, include the full stay and required taxes or fees from your quote.

Enter zero when a category genuinely costs nothing or is outside both plans. Leave an unknown amount blank. A lower known subtotal is not a completed comparison.

Use the result as one part of the decision
